Hey, this is Jesse Willie. I'm signing in with my wife's account. I served in the mission from 2001 to 2003. I was in Yekat and Chely. This is a great idea - especially for those of us who live far away and can't make it to the reunions in Utah.

Welcome Elder Willie! I'll link your blog up. If this is a problem, please let me know!

Thanks for doing this, and my tie knot is too small in that pic above. I must've been slackin'.

Sister Wood--
Thanks! It's really working out. Hopefully, we'll find more and get them on here. It's fun to link everyone up. Just a funny thing: my wife and I were married two years after you! August 12th is a great date!

Vudochki said...

I must say that I agree. August 12 is an awesome day! Hey, I guess your brother and sister-in-law were in my ward for awhile. I can't remember his name, but Tavey was awesome! Small world.

Anthon Davenport--AKA Elder Davenport said...

Sister Wood: That would be my brother Delwin. And yes, Tavey is awesome! What have you and your family been up to these days?

Anthon, now that you say his name, I remember it. :) In response to your question, I don't know where to begin, but I'll sum everything up and if you're interested, check out our blog. We have 2 little girls. Mckenzie just turned 2 and is our little opprotunist. She finds a way to do everything in any situation. Abigail is 8 months and is a cuddle bug who gets into absolutely everything and eats it too. We moved to the Boston area about 6 months ago and we love it! Dan works for Intel and I get to stay at home with the girls! What about everyone else?

Well, as for me, I have been trying to finish up school. I have a couple years to go. I am majoring in Construction Management. My wife teaches. We don't have any kids yet, but we are happy. Life is going good for us.

For all those inquisitive minds, follows is the story of the life of Jim Roberts post mission. I have married my high school mortal enemy, had three kids and graduated from USU in pre-law economics, and been hired on to Chanshare Group as their vice president of finance. Currently I am investing in local real estate and starting a company of my own that educates people how to prepare to own a home and invest in real estate. I will be taking the GMAT this winter and plan on getting my MBA from either the Wharton School of Business or HBS.

My kids are three (Tatyanna), two (Anastasia), and newborn (Mik short for Mikhail). I currently have zero social life except for my family and enjoy studying up on the housing trends. Weird but I am more confident and full of myself now than on my mission, shocking I know.

For all of you who don't know me, I served with Vanwagoner and Goodman in Center Perm, then Whistler Rhien, Mckullen, and Nieves in Sortirovka Yekat, then the guy who had his nose busted four or five times in Oktyabersky Ufa...Maughn, then Batty and Stonehacker all over Chelyabinsk. I served with every one else in the mission, including some sisters, on the chili runs and during the homeless Chilians before we got registration.

Anyone know how Mullen, Tuttle, VW, Pingree, Ryan Anderson, Batty, Price, Dalquist, Geary, Mcgeary, Clark, Hart, or any of the troublesome 9 turned out?

Let me know at hamvonopm@hotmail.com or post here, I guess...but don't take the name Anonymous, that is mine.

Hey everyone,

I wanted to apologize for not really updating the blog. I fell off of my father-in-law's roof and ended up getting my spleen taken out. Please send flowers! I'll be better next time!
